It’s September 23. The 2025 Chef’s Challenge kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center. Local celebrity chefs will serve up a gourmet, multi-course meal prepared with items one might find in a food pantry. The event, a fundraiser for the local nonprofit Covenant House, benefits neighbors in need of food, housing, and healthcare security. You can find more details in today’s community calendar below.
