It’s June 25. West Virginia is blessed with abundant natural beauty, and that extends to our little corner of the state. If you, like me, are curious about local flora and fauna, you might be interested in today’s Tree Tour Group Bike Ride in Charleston. The free 90-minute leisurely excursion will be led by Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Ratrie Arboretum Arborist, Chris Higgins. We’ve got more details linked in today’s community calendar, found below.

TRANSPORTATION
KRT to replace 4 low-ridership routes with on-demand service
More changes are coming to the county-wide public transportation system, according to officials. Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation, the region’s public bus agency, announced it was replacing several low-ridership bus routes with its on-demand KRTplus service beginning July 20.
