Good Monday, neighbor!
It’s July 20. If you use KRT, the county’s public transportation system, you’ll no longer be able to take the Route 11 (Wertz Avenue), Route 16 (South Park), and Route 18 (Fort Hill/Montrose) buses. KRT has replaced them with its KRTplus on-demand service starting today. The Route 10 bus will continue to serve City Park and Renaissance Village, but passengers going to Northgate, Hillcrest Drive, or the YMCA will now need to schedule a ride on KRTplus, officials said. All other bus routes will continue per usual.

State asks Medicaid recipients for updated info, launches website
Big changes are coming to Medicaid thanks to Pres. Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Thousands of West Virginia residents could be affected starting next year. State officials have launched a new website and are urging Medicaid recipients to update their contact information before new federal work requirements take effect. (via West Virginia Watch)
