It’s November 19. If you happen to drive (or walk) around the city of Nitro, you may notice several storefronts with winter-themed window displays greeting you with holiday cheer. The paintings are the effort of local high school artists. You can read more about the students’ community-wide project in today’s Tidbits column, linked below.

Students’ storefront art, community potluck and more
Art students at one area high school are bringing holiday cheer to local storefronts, and neighbors throughout the Kanawha Valley are invited to a Thanksgiving potluck dinner at an Elk River community business. Here’s the 411 from neighborhoods around the region, including South Charleston, Nitro and Clendenin.
