It’s January 27. The region is still grappling with the aftermath of this weekend’s ice. A cold weather advisory is in effect until noon today, and Kanawha County School students have the day off. We’ve got continued weather-related coverage, linked below.

Storm moves out but frigid temperatures remain
The weekend winter storm has moved out of our region, but frigid temperatures and ice continue to affect the area. A cold weather advisory is in effect until noon today. Officials with the National Weather Service in Charleston said the Kanawha Valley could see very cold wind chills as low as 13 below zero during the advisory. Here’s the latest.
