Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., a West Virginia native and winner of Season 6 of “America's Got Talent,” will perform a holiday concert at St. Albans’ Alban Theater at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, officials announced last week. Tickets start at $35 per person and can be purchased online.
Software company Coforge held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park in South Charleston on Friday. The event was attended by many local representatives, including South Charleston Mayor Frank Mullens.
The town of Marmet will hold a holiday dinner for residents from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8. Deliveries are available, officials said. Residents may contact Debbie Skeens at 304-546-2481 for more information.
The town of Cedar Grove has hired Emily Clark as the community’s new town clerk.
